Traxwatch - Charlie Hamilton James'Traxwatch' the new name in Remote Imaging and Camera Trap systems...

Developed by wildlife photographers, for wildlife photographers

"The concept of 'Traxwatch' was born from a simple photographic hobby, which very quickly became an obsession, following diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease in 2004.

I was advised to find a pastime to keep me active and mobile. Golf clubs and I didn't bond and the gym, well, just wasn't me. Wildlife photography however, I found I really enjoy and it gets me out and about.

Probably like most keen wildlife photographers, I started experimenting with the animals in the back garden. I spent hours getting to grips with the endless camera settings and camera techniques, but unfortunately the local robins and blue tits that visited weren't reading the same books...

Harnessing my knowledge of electronic equipment from a career within the electrical wholesaling industry, I designed and built a gadget to capture images of my garden visitors, without the need of being behind the camera lens. It proved to work well with some excellent results.

After two years of refinement and invaluable help from various sources, I am pleased to launch 'Traxwatch One', the first in a range of innovative camera trapping and remote imaging products..."

Camera Trap & Remote Imaging System

The system at a glance:

'Traxwatch One' principally combines two methods of remote trigger activation. Firstly, detection of movement by means of infra red beam and PIR technology, and secondly by automatic tripping at pre-set intervals.

Although a lot of emphasis has been put on the fact that 'Traxwatch One' is the simplest camera trap to use, and set-up is literally achieved in minutes, it is also has an array of features and settings, unequalled in any other device available. Features include- Totally Wireless Communication, IR Laser Trip, PIR Detection, Multiframe(burst)/Video Mode, Trip Delay, Focus First Option, Time Lapse Mode, Count Down, Event Counter and a fully rechargeable system.

A mode option recently added, is a programmable system trip activation start and stop time. A useful setting, where the desired live activation period is in advance of the system set-up.
